Project at Eldfisk

Between March and July 2023, thirteen spool measurements were carried out for DeepOcean in the Eldfisk area in the North Sea. The spool parts were then fabricated using these measurements.

What was done?

During this assignment, we performed subsea spool measurement using photogrammetry combined with depth sensors and inclinometer sensors. Scale bars were laid out and then photographed.

Dimensional control on land was performed on related structures where necessary. Among other things, this was conducted to enable spool measurement before the manifolds with hubs were installed.

With skilled professionals from Anko on site, the job was carried out as planned.
